thats just the nature of aircraft accidents. they are so safe, so when something does fail, and fail enough to bring a plane down ... its going to be because redundancies failed. and, guess what, in looking back at the history of aviation accidents, thats exactly what happens.
pilot suicide is certainly an option, one i have explicitly suggested as well. however, massive conspiracy to seal an plane, is not.

Far and away the greatest cause of airplane crashes is pilot error, both in general aviation and commercial aviation. Very rarely does a catastrophic failure bring down an airplane.
