996.1 or 996.2 Either will work.
Though I'm guessing because of our price range it's more likely to be a 996.1
Definitely a manual. Options? The usual...Leather, A/C, etc. Stuff like sport seats or optional wheels and other higher dollar options are a nice bonus. We're not really fussy on colors...but we're not fond of blue or yellow.
Price? The lower the better.
Ideally something in the $15K-$18k range. As I said...Halm's car is EXACTLY what we were after and he was asking $16K.
Miles is really a tough one to answer. I think mileage in an of itself is a poor indicator of condition. I've seen 50,000 mile 911s that were in worse condition than my 425,000km 911. So it's really tough to say on this one.....I guess it will depend on condition and maintenance ultimately rather than outright mileage. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at a car with 100k+ miles as long as it's been properly maintained and loved.
