All I thought when I saw those pics was "ouch"!
That's a fair amount of mass coming together, and dead center frontal impact on the other guy's truck. Lucky if no one was hurt.
I've always liked trucks, since I was a little kid in the sandbox, they are great when you have use for them. But the other guys are right, here in the city plenty of people drive them for some stupid 'image' thing. Different story in Montana, Idaho, etc.
