Morning everyone!
Spent the morning arguing with the boss about what is chemically happening in one of his formulations. Only thing to do now is mix up a bunch of different samples, controlling different parameters and mix up a control to see who is correct. He is having an insoluble precipitate falling out of solution over time. I say it's Magnesium Phosphate, he is led to believe that it is Magnesium Borate. I have a hard time believing his because the pH isn't anywhere near high enough to crash the boric acid out into a metal borate salt.
