the only thing it doesn't fit as far as data, is the location of the crash.

if you are hijacking a jet, you will probably stay pretty close to civilization, and fly the plan in a big circle, because you don't want to have to wait 3 or 4 hours to land, or get anything done.

you wont fly a one way route to the middle of nowhere (literally)
