My experience is they are very close to being correct. BUT, you need to read closely what the industry defines as a number 1 through 4 condition vehicle. It is not the same standard that applies to your every day milk toast DD.

I have a (private) customer who recently bought a 1972 corvette that has beaten within an inch of its life then someone(s) started an amateur restoration. He called me to do some work and part of that was to evaluate the car. Well.........................................this car doesn't even qualify as a #4. Which according to their guide a #4 sells for @$12K. THIS car is worth maybe @$7-9K.................He paid $17.5
