The 6 only had 1788 sold in the US, of those at least 500 are gone/destroyed! That only leaves about 1300 left and alot have been sent back to europe over the past few years.
I would say the 2.0L-6 is equal to the 67 911 as far as anemic. It is an early small displacement motor. Alot of people pull the motors and crate them up for resale value when they sell the car and put in a larger motor! I have a 3.0L FI motor in mine and I love it! Everything else is stock so including the original motor for a CW sale is very easy and adds alot of value!!!
The 6 was not assembled by VW it was assembled by Porsche! So unlike the 914-4's it is not a VW!
