I went to Tire Rack today in South Bend (about 30min from my house). Nice folks (as always) and they pulled one of each tire so I could look them over. I looked at the following, all 195/65-15
1. Toyo Proxes A18
2. BFG Advantage T/A
3. Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S
4. Bridgestone Pole Position RE960AS
After inspecting each and looking at them in person... I went with the Goodyear Eagles. They were 2lbs lighter than the rest of the bunch, and I liked the look of the sidewall. The tread pattern isn't real wild looking and they have rim guards to protect the Fuchs. My second choice was the BFG's, as they looked more "period" with very little on the sidewall besides the name. But the weight and price difference won me over on the Goodyears. Plus, I'm getting $40 in rebate money back. I'll let you all know what I think after I mount them on the car.
