One would think by the headline that the whole line had ground to a halt.
"The order applies to about 20,000 Cruzes in total. "
So, the 1.4 litre turbo has a recall.
Here's the reason:
"The Problem: The issue stems from “an interconnecting bar on the half shaft on some Cruzes “may not meet GM specification and could fracture and separate,” according to GM. If that happens while driving, the vehicle would lose power to the wheels and coast to a stop — but steering and braking control can still be maintained."
