All done! Important lessons learned:
1. You can't do this job without a long ball-end 4mm Allen key wrench (Kobalt #338167 or equivalent).
2. The %&^$! #9 screw accepts this 4mm Allen key. Once you take the retaining bolt off, IMO driving the screw all the way IN on the regulator (as opposed to removing it) makes it easier to remove the regulator from the car.
3. The window regulator repair shop in Brooklyn does a good job for under $150 plus shipping. And they turn it around in under a week. Don't waste your money or time on a new regulator.
4. When you're finished and have it all back in, you'll need to teach the window where the limits are. Do this by closing the window all the way and holding the button for 10+ seconds. Repeat for the open position.
