I think they need to start investigating the investigators. Also, I'm surprised China hasn't put much heat on. Was there some Chinese political dissident's on board? Everyone on that manifest has to be looked into.

I lived in Malaysia for a short time and non of this surprises me. Corruption is at every level of Government and business. Even the cops take bribes openly.
Don't get me wrong. It's a great place to visit and the locals are friendly but everything about Malaysia and how things are done is about
"saving face."
