What others have said, typically it will not provide DHCP to it's wired side.
Easy enough to test, plug in your PC to same switch and set your PC to DHCP, check the IP it gets. If you have DHCP on your Router/firewall just connect your PC to AP with crossover cable and try DHCP again.
