Sorry - didn't mean to imply you had any sympathy for Richards. I just have a thing for precise language. 'Sick' generally implies a temporary state that is the opposite of 'well' (modern epithets aside).
I think if we stop softening our language about evil men like Richards, judges like Jurden will be less able to get away with tragic decisions like the one she did. "He won't fare well," is a mealy-mouthed excuse for her stupidity.
She needs to say what she means, and mean what she says.
