It's one thing to hack a drone, and entirely another to hack a piloted plane.
Hypothetically...
Let's say is it a Boeing Aircraft. You would need a cooperating pilot or else he'd just grab the stick.
Let's say it's an Airbus and pilot inputs can be overridden by computer. You'd still have to wipe out communications to avoid pilot reporting the event as it was happening. I cannot believe all comms on a plane are computer based/reliant.
So that leaves us with a cooperative pilot - which means you wouldn't need to hack in the first place. Unless we're talking about a pilot not cooperating but perhaps acting under duress...like say... his missing wife and family was actually kidnapped by the evildoers.
But now we're pretty much shaving with Occam's Spoon, aren't we?.
