Doing the belts/WP really isn't that much harder than doing an oil change...

The only special tools you really need are the narrow wrench for the eccentric rollers, the spanner for the balance shaft gears/late TB tensioner, and maybe a flywheel lock...

Set the timing belt tension to where you can just turn the belt 90* between thumb and forefinger on the longest span (before the idler is installed), and the balance belt to 180*...set the balance idler 1 credit-card width from the balance belt...
