I personally love the choice. I had a poster of that bike on my wall in college. It would be 25 years later before I had my first street bike. I now have 4 in the garage ranging from a 68 r50/2 BMW to a 2006 VStrom. My favorite is the 93 VFR750 which many would say is older underpowered tech by todays standards. Enjoy and consider a full face helmet when you can to upgrade the gear. That helmet is very cool but won't do much for your jaw when you face hits the pavement.
