I live on an island in between Vancouver and Victoria so can't easily attend many events put on by the clubs. Every year however I attend a couple (in both Van and Vic...and on occasion, Washington state). The events are always well done, really good value for the money and I've met many people that I now consider friends. For $50 a year, I consider it a no-brainer, especially now with the quality of the new monthly magazine. The club itself doesn't fulfill all my Porsche networking requirements since most members are not "hands on" owners like myself. Each region seems to have a different take on the security of their site. Technically I'm a member of Vancouver Island but I used to be able to post on the lower mainlands site. Despite being a PCA member, the club in Vancouver restricted access to only local club members....that was a little unneighbourly. Anyway place me in the "Pro" camp. Cheers
