I find also that the WWR is mostly water based, with only few like our's that are air-cooled, i have been to the BBQ's and some run's and there good, more so if your water based, i do wish there was more air cooled, and more air cooled based companies that would do more tech days styled for air cooled, really when i go to a tech day and see a water cooled being worked on, it has no interest for what i drive, i do like the water cooled, 944, 968, 911, dont get me wrong, but its not what i own, i like getting dirty and taking apart my car, i dont need a computer to help me tune or even drive my car, i am old school and would like to see clubs start keeping records of recent builds and restores, and getting as much info from people like the gentleman from Turner Valley with the 912, his knowledge is so valuable, that it should be documented for future members, the same for others who work on their Porsche's air or water cooled, it needs to be documented, and made available, i personally know quite a few Porsche owners who are not current WWR members for one reason or another, who also do their own work, i think we are missing out on what could be a very good thing for the WWR, Sites like our host here are so valuable to us all, just thought that it would also be nice to have on a more local level, a resource of past and present, and the local people who may be able to help others. i know bla bla bla......
