Need recommendation for basic psychology text
Based on the high level of expertise that exists on this board - (everything and anything) I'd like a recommendation of a good psychology primer.
I've started delving into an alternate philosophy and one of the recommendations is to get a basic understanding of what makes the mind tick, and why people do the things that they do.
