Don't travel enough to rack up any points. Looked into getting a Conoco card to buy gas with because of the advertised discount on gas, but after reading the fine print I don't use enough gas in a month to enable the discount.

My Visa Debit card requires a phone call to charge more than $2000 in a 24 hour period. Works like that lifelock commercial, they call me when a purchase or purchases go over the limit before they suck it out of my account.

Mom's credit cards were getting scammed. We tried new cards and changed banks twice. Before we could activate the new cards by using them at an ATM they would get scammed. Noticed they were scamming her credit cards but not her debit card so killed all her credit cards and she has only a debit card. Don't know what the difference is, but haven't gotten a mystery charge since.
