Yeah that's the first thing I thought also. Block is trashed. Cracked along the oil pan rail.

I remember one time, after rebuilding a manual transmission, putting it back in the car, then going over to my bench to put tools away and clean up. Looking up in horror and seeing a synchro ring hanging on the pegboard. I was slightly upset.
