Hello again all. Some of you may remember the original 962-106b "barn find" story that I wrote about in the forums almost two years ago:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/655425-barn-find-porsche-962-106b.html
Then, I found another neglected 962 and rescued it from disrepair and storage last year, as detailed here:

Well, just when I thought there were no more left to be found, I have now added the third "barn find" 962 to the Pelican collection. I'm beginning to feel like the "European Pickers" of the 962 world!
This car is a bit unusual, as it's a Can-Am Interserie car built for racing in the early 1990s. Built for and raced by Dahmen Tuning, the car raced from about 1991-1995 in an open-top Can-Am configuration. The best finish the car ever did was 4th placed, but it did race all over Europe. We're compiling the history of the car now, as some of the Internet sites with racing history have some conflicting information.
The car is located in the UK (like the other two), and is going to be restored by Trevor Crisp of Katana LTD. Trevor's our go-to guy for all things 962 - we're handily keeping him employed with all of these projects that we are scraping up out of the barns! I also bought the remaining race parts supply from Dahmen Racing along with two more rebuilt 962 engines!
Okay here are some pics:
