I'm somewhat mechanical...but "tearing a transmission down and swapping a new gear set" is a bit above my pay grade...especially in an afternoon! Well done1

We torn the trans down, swapped in a new gear set and buttoned it up in an afternoon.
Didn't cost anything except the gasket/seal set from our host.

Find a short third gear and handle this.
