Poorly tuned Webers are a nightmare. I spent weeks getting them sorted on my '68. But when you get them dialed the throttle response is amazing.

And the sound. The only 911 engine that sounds better than one on carbs is one on MFI. CIS runs good enough all the time. But for the 911 experience it leaves a lot to be desired. A 3.2 Carrera with a proper Ecu buries CIS in the dark ages of Pcar tuning.

There's a no mans land of 911s. That's 73.5-83 when the cars ran CIS. Only way I will ever own a car in that window is to rip off the original CIS and either go EFI and modern or backdate with Webers or MFI.
