Wrong, bisch (aka: Mr. Fancy Undies) - ever heard a 3.3L Turbo, straight through muffler, non-muffled wastegate pipe, and the airbox replaced with a simple filter on the air metering housing, at full song? Utter bliss, my friend (especially under a highway overpass or in a tunnel)!
