yes, it can be done. many do it. it all really depends on how you plan to drive the car, as to whether or not it would be an issue.
I was going by wheel size (7X16 in this case), since 225s (the largest size you can correctly use on street tires on 7X16s). Course I have only been Auto-crossing & tracking 944s since the 80s, and as DD, bedsides, being able to rotate your wheels makes your tires last longer
