My good buddy since 4th grade loves fishing and thus has a boat.
It is a custom fiberglass over wood, apparently it is a very nice boat because other fishermen try to buy it from him, and he is the kind of guy that does his research and gets the best made stuff at the best possible price so that doesn't surprise me.
Long story short he has had the boat for around ten years and thus they have had it repainted a few times... time for another repaint... upon close examination a lot of corners were cut in previous (very expensive) paint jobs.
They are trying to do it themselves because they were screwed by previous boat yards... however they are two middle age guys with day jobs... so doesn't look like the boat will get done this year
and I kid you not, this is what my friend lives for.
So, anyone know a good boatyard in SoCal that can fix my friends boat?
