What is "janky" anyway? I think the ride is different with the Eibachs, but not inferior.
I think I get a better feel for what the weissach axle is doing with the Eibachs, and I like that. It seems to me that I can move the GTS through corners better than before since the rear turns easier then stiffens as the Eibach springs compress to limit that movement.
I have my '89 set at medium with stock springs. Compared to the GTS, it can be bone-jarring. Not really, but in comparison.
I have the Stepson set at medium with stock springs. I also have a DR front swaybar. I don't notice the ride being as stiff as the '89, but that could be a function of the '84 Euro. It corners very flat and is a beast in curves.

When I first installed them, I ensured they were soft by pushing the piston down all the way and rotating counter clockwise until they wouldnt turn. The car handles fine at speed and feels like on rails but i do feel the small bumps in the road, not bone jarringly, but there. I think it may just be progressiveness of the springs at that point though? The rear is where I feel (and hear) it though. The front seems to absorb it alot better.
