I really wonder how much our medicated society plays into these events. Almost every mass shooting, bombing, etc is committed by someone undergoing mental health treatment and prescribed with personality altering medication. It only seems to be getting worse, I see many parents content to medicate their kids as opposed to dealing with a behavior issue. When your behavior is regulated with drugs, what happens when your body eventually builds up an immunity and makes them less effective? Or when the patient stops taking the drugs, for whatever reason?

I know that in some cases medication is the only solution. But in many instances, are we simply treating the symptoms and not the root cause?
