Just returned from my parents' house and noticed gas prices along the way (5 miles or so). My "go to" station is convenient and was 15 cents cheaper than the station across the street from it...others were slightly higher with one being 30 cents more. Now I'm not going to go out of my way for a nickles difference, but when filling up (50 miles at least after the light comes on), I'm pulling into the one I usually use. Now my dad would drive half-way across town to brag that he saved a penny or two...probably a hold over from when 2 cents was a 10% savings per gallon
