Trekkor, so let me get this straight. If I were to say that MAYBE, just MAYBE, the moon will drop out of orbit in about six months and smash us all to smithereens, and nearly everyone laughs uncontrollably at me for being a nutcase...and then IT HAPPENS, and then you all say "Our bad...LOL", I can consider you all selfish and uncaring? Hmm. Ok.
The reality is, ANYTHING is possible. However certain things are so nearly out of the realm of plausible, that their mere mention can, and should, garner some light hearted ridicule and big eye rolls among most reasonably sane people.
