I just looked at previous topics concerning power window problems and did not find any answers. I own a 1983 944 and the passenger window operates very slowly and the driver's side window is not much better. I am beginning to think that I need two new power window motors. Now for a dumb question. What the heck do the power window regulators do? Could they be the problem? Does anyone know where I could look to get instructions on removing the door panels to access the motor and regulator? I have seen these items on eBay from time to time and for very reasonable prices. Should I stray away from buying a used motor or regulator even though they "tested good and come with a 30-day warranty". Thanks in advance!
