the most pertinent information about my time spent with dawn wells is that it was not enough time. she is a very lovely woman.
my sister was working for the company that makes malibu rum, they were having a promotion involving dawn. a series of "three hour tours with mary ann" on a boat. one in rhode island, one in the hamptons, and one in atlantic city. she arranged for me to be dawn's security/companion for the cruises. great work, if you can get it. we had some terrific chats about food, the world, and tv shows, etc. did i already say what a lovely woman she is?

about three months later i received a telephone call from her, and she asked me if i could get out to los angeles she would love to show me the town. here is the part that makes me the stupidest sob around. i said that at that time it would not be possible for me to go. and i never heard from her again.
