Wrong, and dangerous advice.
I wanted an alignment before a short trip up I-70 and the only shop who could schedule me was one who had done a good job setting up new diff gears in my vette. Unfortunately whoever did the alignment believed it was OK to raise the front end to get the laser to clear the spoiler.
The car drove like a '60s Galaxy with bad suspension, unbelievable. It tended to shift balance unpredictably going through twisties, scariest drive through Glenwood canyon in my life.
