Rick Lee and island911, that's not my logic it's simply fact.
Fact being, people unlike you gents and myself (the privileged soccer moms) who can't (husbands can't) do the work are getting themselves into a wickedly costly adventure.
Mine never went to a stealer either...which is why the "service now" light never went off. BUT, if it did, my maintenance costs would have been $4800 in 9 months of ownership, they were $750+ my time, still ridiculous. Mind you, this was a one owner car, driven by a privileged stay at home mommy, religiously serviced at the same dealer until a month prior to transaction.
The thing was/they are costly junk. I've 6 friends who have owned Cayenne's and each one is quick to tell their horror stories to others and steer them away from making the bad decision they did.
Oh, and the Highlander goes farther on $60 fuel than the Cayenne did on $100
