Used to get my watches from a place called Service Merchandise. Think I paid $25 for the first one plus the $7 replacement insurance. Every year I got a new watch and pay $7 for the replacement insurance, usually because the band was breaking. They always let me trade up value wise because they never had the same watch as I had gotten the year before. Wasn't very happy to see them go out of business.

Now I wear the a $700 custom designed watch, designed by me. I've replaced the leather band once already.

Waiting for the guy to put together another custom watch I designed. It's been a while since I've heard from him. Looks like it's going to be a $200 Seiko. Will have to get two, one to wear and one to keep.
