Correction:
suction type vacuum > leaf canister > pool wall inlet Hayward Vac Lock Safety Fitting > 1" inch pipe inlet > 3/4 pump > 1" pipe out
When I purchased the house the pool was not working. So I refinished it and installed a new filter system. Everything works okay. Except, I would like to run the skimmer and a vacuum at the same time. The one inch lines are already there, capped. I thought I could easily reattach and I would be a happy camper.
Seems like to much of a hassle to make it work properly. I guess, I'll go robotic or invest in a pressure vacuum system.
