Spoke to the owner, says he bought it a couple of weeks ago not knowing what he was getting himself into. By the decal under the hood it's a 5.0L 302 32v 4cam auto.
While looking up the fees on DMV (thanks for the link/info Dano) aside from $181 in fees, states it has a Junk title.
So I'm going to see what his or my pain threshold in terms of price is going to be but again, like the '81 Euro, won't kill me to walk away from both.
Funny update on the '81, called the guy to remain in touch, just happened to ask why he didn't non-op the car so he wouldn't accrue all the fees and penalties?
