So the positive terminal on the starter was quite loose. Actually the end closest to the starter of the terminal stud is stripped so the wire could not tighten down and was hard to get off since it was spinning and not loosening. Finally I stuck a blade to create some pressure and got it off. I put on about 5 little washers to move the bolt to a non stripped part of the screw and it tightened down well.

Reconnected the battery, turned the key and she started right up.

Anyone know if there is a way to change the terminal stud without changing the whole starter?
