All this is a little less funny when you or your kid is the one facing a lifetime of uphill.
I know the world won't lay down in front of her, but there will be some really uncomfortable moments for those who decide to turn my 7 year-old daughter's situation into their entertainment. She didn't choose her problem...but those who run their mouths (or worse) will have picked theirs.
