I'll play. Had a 73S (not bragging, just fact) which was a raw fun car. The 82 SC OTOH does just about everything so much better - that's what's what 9 years of development will do. No obnoxious wind noise in the cabin, stops great, a far more refined suspension, a much more comfortable car. What I would knock is the initial lack of torque and snappyness, but losing 125 lbs and switching to SSIs and a sport muffler goes a long way. Add intermittent wipers and cruise control (AC was yanked the 2nd week I had it) go along way towards being more civilized. The SC is not a barnstormer but it has enough zip to be fun and a great car for all day drives. They are truly great cars.
