I would think so. The cost of a G50 & a 3.6 is not cheap, much less the modifications to the car and tranny to make it fit.
Most 911 owners would love to have 300 HP but it is just not cost effective. I always figured if I get the HP bug I will trade up to a newer 911 or Caymen. My wife would love it if I sold my 911 and bought a new Caymen S. I just have this aversion to car payments and I don't see sinking THAT much money into a car that would drop like a stone in value.
