In the current market I would have said 28K is only just fair. I would have thought it was worth more. My shop has a 76 that we have been restoring to original and we expect it will be worth $30K+. It's very hard to know with any deviation from stock whether value has been added or subtracted.

If I was looking for a mid-year I would buy yours for $28K without hesitating because I know it would cost way more to reproduce it. These days a good, solid, rust free Mid-year daily driver is worth the best part of $20K and I know you have at least another $20K in your car just by reading the "new" list.

I hope you have a solid plan for this car's replacement because I know that with $28k in your pocket you will not be able to buy a Porsche half as pretty or well set up as the one one you already have. Good luck.
