Perhaps your point being that each click has their own modus operandi or "uniform". However, Aerostich and similar is purpose driven rather than look at me driven. No "pirate" garb, kaiser helmets... or fauxhawks either.
As for the Harley crowd... well, pirate garb, straight pipes save lives, teddy bears and US flags, and good god, slower riding than a caravan of camels... maybe because anything over 50mph makes the eyes really water without appropriate head and eye gear?
