It would be an interesting scam between two friends.... one sells the car, and knows where it is, and the buddy appears out of the woodwork in a month, takes it back.
I wouldn't touch it without a clear title. Offer him $100/month lease, full lease payments apply to purchase price if the owner never shows....
How did the car get in his possession?
