I may be wrong here but the front cooler and oil lines may not drain when you open the tank plug. If so you'll have about 2.5 quarts too much oil in the car and may suck it into the engine. I added the nine quarts as recommended by the board but even after warm was still short. When I had added eleven it was showing on the stick. The manual I have said 11 qts at oil change, actually it was in liters as the car is a euro and the manual is in German. So I will drive it a bit longer as on a sixty degree day I cant get it hot enough to fully get the cooler flowing very much.
