G, that knob is a bit of a one-off. It's mahogany (thick) and walnut. I'm not opposed to making more, but it's not the normal "917" knob. The finish is polyurethane. I was supposed to tone it down to a satin, but I cheated and left it the high gloss. It'll lose some of that with use in the Az. climate.
