There is no substitute for the OE Porsche mounts. It's well documented. Do a search here and all you need to know will be before your eyes. My cheapo mounts barely lasted 10K, so consider yourself lucky.
When I swapped out the engine in my S2, I had one OE mount from the donor car that was blown out and leaking, and one that was OK. I bought one new OE mount and put it on the exhaust side, and reused the one that was OK for the intake side. The intake side is arguably easier to change, and doesn't require changing quite as often. That's how I manage the cost, do 'em one at a time.
The OE mounts are good for 100K miles. In that light they're really not so expensive.
