230 heart rate seems high to me.

General guideline is max rate of 220 minus your age. So for me it is 220 - 67 =
153 max heart rate. Last year I was hiking up a mountain pass and was getting 190 heart rate according to my gps monitor. I had to stop every 20 yards to catch my breath. My doc said that I was foolish to do that and should keep hr in the 120's max. Risk of a heart attack etc.....
