Home now...1700Km exactly in 3 days, most of it on the second day was "Spirited". This was my first CanAm and I have to say I had no idea what to expect. The best way to describe it was great people, beautiful scenery and some narly twisty BC mountain roads. I guess it's true; it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
I have to say Charlie and company gave me/us quite a journey. Thank you so much Charlie for making fun and exciting for me. As well Al for the fantastic BC roads he knows so well ( and can drive like a demon), and his family for hosting a LARGE BBQ for all of us. Kind of brings my faith back in humanity that people still open up they hearts and homes to a bunch of nutty P-Car folks, feed them and fill them with beer. That was awesome.
One of my favourite parts was the drive home on Sunday AM at least until Creston; we had three cars, the road all to our selves and I got to follow two beautiful Porsches for quite a while on some incredible roads, the look of them carving the corners in front of me reinforced the fact I think they are one of the best looking cars ever.
Anyway thanks again, and I have a ton of pictures to sort through. I am posting a few of the ones I looked through....
